Texas Sees Second-Lowest Number of COVID Cases Since Ending Restrictions 53 Days Ago

Yesterday Texas reported 919 newly confirmed cases, according to data from the Department of State Health Services (DSHS). Only April 5 had a lower number of cases (837) since the restrictions were lifted.

I was wondering why the fear monger club stopped talking about Texas.

This was never really in doubt as far as I was concerned.

We had something like that the last time there was a worldwide crisis that required every citizen of the nation to sacrifice in the face of an existential threat.

At least this time the sacrifice asked is to maybe be a little bit sick for a day. Much easier than storming Normandy beach in the face of dozens of machine guns.

Lurking among the jubilant americans venturing back out to bars and planning their summer-wedding travel is a different group: liberals who aren’t quite ready to let go of pandemic restrictions.

Anyone else find it odd that we have some people trumpeting the liberal lock down, it's never going end, variants are going to kill us all mantra?

False equivalency. The existential threat of World War 2 was much worse than the existential threat of Covid, requiring greater sacrifices to be made.

Plus, the long-term side effects of the Covid vaccines are not documented at all, so there is as of yet no comparison to be made. Whether I'm killed by a 7.92x57 three years after I'm drafted or killed by a poorly developed and quickly distributed vaccine three years after being injected with it, I'm still just as dead.

Not to mention, what if there are unknown long-term side effects that kill off 15% of all Americans who take the vaccine (based on estimated figures of American KIA and MIA for Operation Overlord)? Will those vaccine casualties be regarded as American heroes in 75 years? Will any of them receive burials with honor guard? Will any of them receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously? Will their surviving spouses and children be eligible for survivor benefits? Most importantly, will their deaths actually save the world?

Methinks not. I've sacrificed enough on behalf of a corrupt, lying, backstabbing United States government. I'm done.

On the home front, my brother-in-law is out of ICU and learned to walk again at Rehab. He was a healthy 54 y/o with no comorbidities.

I believe he and his administration are still covering up the real number totals of those they killed by their stupid/by design action.

WAY more data is needed before rolling out a vast experiment on human guinea pigs by the Pharma/industrial complex. In the mean time staying in the control group, if possible, is prudent.
