Repeal of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act | |
Scamdemic Coronahoax User ID: 78089149 United States 12/02/2020 04:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I imagine a lot of complaints to a brand new federal department office building with thousands of workers verifying claims and mailing out cease and desist orders for post by X user on X date at X webpage for hate speech, etc., and every website hiring new managers to monitor all content 24/7, and lots more problems and places shutting down. Section 230 is good. Trump seems to want revenge on Twitter, I don't see any other reason for repealing 230. The problem seems to be that there is no liability anywhere. Anyone can say anything and it's up to a website to determine how it will regulate, monitor and enforce its own rules. Twitter does not seem to censor or add disclaimers to every user therefore it is targeting it's users who it does and there should be a punishment upon Twitter for it because they cannot do it unbiasedly. In essence their censoring and disclaimers can right now be considered hate speech and Trump need not seek to repeal section 230 and just make a huge mess. God is Jesus. |
