Landlady came to the door of the 70 year old Czech guy. 2. Guy stabbed the landlady. 3. Cops came to the house and the guy got his gun then shot and killed two police officers at close range. 4. Guy set the house on fire. That spread to six houses, four of which burned to the ground. In this neighborhood, houses cost at least $2 million each, some are 80 years old. 5. Guy is apparently dead, but cause of death is undetermined. I'm a couple of miles away to the north and earlier you could even see flames from here. Looks like most of the smoke is gone now and the fire is out. Feckless Asterix |
