Hello again my GLP family hugs

I continue to be blown away by the love and kindness I find every time I visit the thread. Thank all of you, from the bottom of my heart. I wish I were better with words. I can say when I need a lift in my mood, I just come to this thread, click any and every page and I feel like I have superpowers. I feel like I can deal with anything at all life throws my way! Thank you!hugs

The woman in her rocking chair, quite near my bed is my grandmother! My father died near to 20 years ago. That doesn't stop him from visiting me rose Well, I was having one of those weird little naps I can't help but take, and my father woke me. He told me my grandmother is here to keep me safe until she takes me home. I asked my father, home? He replied home. He told me to talk to her, she can hear me, and when she is ready she will talk to me.

My grandmother died before I was born. I have pictures of her, and in most pictures she is with dogs. She loves/d dogs. I also have always had "pet" dogs. I look like my grandmother as well. We both had (complete) grey/silver hair
before we were 30 years old. We both have natural curls.

So my grandma is here with me now, and will stay with me until well, until I am home I guess. There are some details of my father's visit missing, but I have to work with how long I can keep my eyes from slamming shut...

Thank you to whomever pinned this thread today, as well as thank you to everyone who posted lovely messages and beautiful music. Thank you for the email mail as well as the snail mail and the messages here. You are by far the kindest group of people I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Everyone of you is a blessing in my life.

Even the A.C. who said something along the lines of it I were in hospice this thread would be over with now. How very wrong that person is.

I am doing much better now that I am in hospice than I was before starting hospice. Here are some gifts I have received from my hospice team. And my hospice team is amazing! Kind, gentle, strong, reassuring, knowledgeable, huggable angels on earth.

Before hospice my life was a blur of years and horrible physical pain I would not wish on any living creature. Now, my pain is manageable. This gives me the gift of time, quality time, to spend with loved ones, to draw, listen to music, snuggle with my cat, dog and last but not least my people, hugs from my 3 adult sons and their beautiful families, my grandchildren, my friends. Quality time with my husband. Even if he just sits on my bed an we hold hands, or he brushes my hair. Time to make memories, for them for sure, for me while I am still here.

Before hospice I was an anxiety ball on legs. Shaking so badly I at times could not hold a cup still enough to drink a sip of tea. Anxiety that stole my sleep, and if by chance I did sleep I had nightmares from hell. I can hold pens to draw now. I can hold my kindle to read GLP and play music. Everyday things I took for granted, gone. Now back again thanks to hospice. blobr

I can eat, enjoy food and keep the food down! Illness took that away, hospice gave it back to me.

Whilst I need some help with hygiene issues hospice has given me back some dignity, for now anyways. I have been using a bedside commode for a few months now, hospice will be here when I can no longer do that. Thanks to hospice I can get to the kitchen sink once a week to get my hair washed. Washing my hair was a thing I took for granted as well. Hospice helps me have clean hair using shampoo and water, for now at least.

I am actually much better overall with my hospice angels. My husband benefits too. They are here for him as well. Yes, I can feel myself slipping away slowly. But I am no longer scared thanks to hospice and the love and kindness of those who care about me, who love me, who post songs and send messages and pray for me and take care of me in more ways than I can count. God has blessed me and I am well aware of that fact. hugs

So that concludes this babbling post. chuckle Oh, if I owe you a reply or have not answered a question please, please remind me. I have profound short term memory loss and I don't imagine being this ill does much to benefit my memory.

Hugs and love, always love...hugskittyrose

You are so beautiful. And I have the utmost respect for you awesome Flower. Peace, encouragement, honesty, caring, love. It all shines through your words. Your eye for others, the way you describe what is going on in your life in these times, the highs, but also the very logical lows.

You carry others in these most challenging and personal times. And it is us that feel blessed with your love and friendship. You are a beacon for many to let them know that even in the darkest times, we still can find balance on the journey to our next adventure.

Re: I started Hospice at home, prayers and emotional support appreciated. UPDATE: Our Beloved Monkey Flower Has Passed - LJS 7 April 2020
My Dear Person: I am 69 yrs, have suffered many maladies. My dear wife helped me care for my mother the last six-years in her home, a farm she so loved. Mom, was just 97 when she passed in Nov.'19. The last six months she had Cancer...

HOSPICE in my area of Ohio jumped right in to help us care for her. Our wish was for her to pass on here in her home! Hardest thing I have ever done...My wife is as Saintly as my momma, so
she helped beyond most peoples limits.

Our prayers are with you. I have crossed that line to Heaven
a couple times in accidents and such. Then sent back to finish
my job here each time. My life took on a strange number of jobs.
Life saving the life of an Alien who had bad accident years earlier. an anomaly of opposing electro-magnetic forces caused by two lg. underground streams crossing caused it. I was raised ALL lifeforms are of importance. What I learned from this female
has fueled my compassion for ALL. A couple years after she was
well, I got very ill and the second day coming from hospital was
up reading at 3:00am. Discovered one of her group showed up to see how I was doing!!!?

This is a wonderous place we live! I don't much talk of these things out of respect. But, GOD is very Real and that is who
told me to help this injured Lady! What he did not tell me, was
she was a QUEEN of the DRACO EMPIRE, ROYAL WHITE. The highest of the groups that visit Earth. Now, people will say, Wow, are they
not fierce Warriors?? Yes and they came looking for her one night shortly after accident. She saved my family, neighbors, etc. by assuring them she was "Staying Safe in 4th Dim., which is invisible for everyones safety, but was in the family of loving people and animals (our Pets). So, please aware of GODS
Love, we are all changed by it and his forces are Wonderful!
PEACE & LOVE! PS. yes our Gov't knew all about this and it has been of great benefit to ALL....
