Goodbye, halcyon days...

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.

Hello friendshugs

Did I mention yet today that I love everyone of you? hf

I have had 2 days of physically feeling like total crap. Not eating much either. You, my friends have carried me these last couple of days. You have truly kept me from crawling under my fuzzy blanket and just giving up. Thank you all for not letting that happen. hugs

Every time I wake, I wake to see and smell fresh flowers! I have rocks I hold in my hand/s as I pray/meditate/go to my peaceful place. I even had wonderful candy and cookies. Little chocolate covered eggs, with wafer and caramel and love inside of them. I have post cards and greeting cards that are taped all over the place. You, my friends know know to perk up a sick bed area! And the music! I have sooo much music. I have playlists I've made from all of the thoughtfully chosen music my friends here have posted. I even have kitty pictures to show to Jinxie, my evil cat. And she looks at them too.

Kitty seldom leaves my bed. Just to eat and use her cat box I think. Kitty often sleeps on me now. She always sleeps touching me, her back to my back, my ankle as her pillow. Kitty says thank you as well.

I bet I am the one of the very few people who can watch Telly Savalas in spanglish! I mentioned this to my 3 sons (2 of whom live very far away from me, but we talk nearly daily) and oddly only one was jealous. I also never knew until recently that William Shatner (thinks he) can sing! So many reasons to laugh....Thank you! hugs

I am off now to reply to messages. Thanks again for everything...I even have my very own rat who enjoys dancing to Tangerine!

I am going to add to your music list, MonkeyFlower!! I am glad you are feeling a bit better. :)

William Shatner actually sits in with my friends band, Circa!! I am hoping he will again one day, it is fantastic!! I love Shatner haha :)

I can't believe this was 6 years ago now..

This is a super short video of everyone bowing at the end of one of the shows. At least you can see everyone good so I can introduce them

[link to www.youtube.com (secure)]

Left to right..
Tony Kaye, keyboards, one of the founding members of the band Yes. He is super funny, and a fitness freak haha.

William Shatner, who you know of course.

Billy Sherwood, for Circa he is vocalist, guitarist, (he plays everything otherwise lol) currently is touring with Yes, and Asia. He rejoined Yes just a year or so after these videos. It was a tough gig for him emotionally, but Chris Squire asked him to take his place and keep Yes going.

Scott Connor, drums. He also did drums for William Shatner's 2013 record Ponder the Mystery. Billy (mentioned above) produced the album. Shatner has a ton of musicians sit in for that. I will post some videos of that after the Circa vids. ***Jump to very last video for the Ponder the mystery official video.***

ratdance And finally. Ratty! Ricky Rat (Teirney), my friend, bassist. He's such a funny guy, love him!! When he was younger, he was in the band that toured for the Monkees, he played while they stood at microphones for the crowd lol. Pretty fun gig.
He just posted the other day, a memory of Circa and Shatner. You can see his humor. :)

And now some of the live shows.

And lastly for now.. The official video for Ponder the mystery.

That was a longer post than I thought it would be haha.. You can save the videos in your play list and get to them when you can. :)

Hope today goes well, MonkeyFlower. We're all still rooting for you!

And the pictures of the dog are so reminiscent of my now departed lab/pit that I have to stop and stare at them. I also love the look of patience with all the strange items that he balances on his head.

Our Ginger would never have put up with that.

Have a wonderful day!

Tangy,
Thanks for the link. I had to laugh, then needed a trip to the bathroom from the laughing!

Ginger would never have managed to sit through any of what you put Scout through. Patience was never her forte, but every workman who ever came through our house or yard just fell in love with her.

Thanks

Awww, he was not my puppers, although he reminds me of my pit Sensi back in the early 80s. Sensi would have probably loved balancing things on his head. haha I love pitties. :)

I found Scout's pictures years ago, he has a book out also, Lessons in Balance. He was a rescue.

"Once neglected, mistreated, and underfed, he now lives with a loving owner and there's nothing he can't balance. Based on the popular Tumblr “Stuff on Scout's Head,” Lessons in Balance shares Scout's pithy and humorous wisdom about navigating life's highs and lows to achieve balance and mindfulness."

Monkey Flower, I make my own Rick Simpson oil.

I would gladly give all you need, for free.
People that are sick, I would never take money.

I'm not saying it's a cure, it will help with, appetite and sleeping.

It is very strong, you don't take a lot, you have to start out small.

We don't live far from each other and I need to go for a drive anyway, cabin fever is setting in big time.

I would also be just as happy to stick it in the mail, done that a lot, with no problems.

Dearie,

I died last year and was without a heartbeat for more than ten minutes. My time in heaven was the sweetest experience I’ve ever known.

It’s so very beautiful over there.

I’m so sorry that you’re dealing with the transition right now but I promise you this: What comes next is full of peace and light and love and joy.

You’ll be in my prayers.

Hello my GLP familyhugs

I am tired, but feeling more human. The respiratory infection seems to be doing better, and my nurse-practitioner says my lungs sound better.

Tomorrow is the busiest hospice day for me. Tuesday's usually are busy hospice days anyways, but the weather is predicting a snow storm (we will see, haven't really had one yet this winter.)

I also ordered groceries for delivery tomorrow. We like to stay stocked up. And kitty needs her catnip. kitty

My last hospice angel tomorrow will give me a great massage. I can never remember her name so I call her my magical woman.cheer If I could I would send her to everyone here. When she is done massaging my back and neck and shoulders I feel like a puddle. I told her if/when SHTF to come stay with us and bring her partner. I figure it's a win/win situation that way.

Thank you guys for everything today. I saved the whole movie posted today so I can watch more than half of it. I think I see 3 or 4 old western movies in my future very soon. And I appreciate William Shatner more today than yesterday as well. Wonderful music, thoughts, prayers, messages, even sweet dreams in blooming roses! You guys are such an amazing blessing in my life! Thank you!

hugskittyrose

Listening to a mixed playlist of Etta James and Billie Holiday...

I saw my Dad go through that, very strong effect on me. I do not know what has led to this juncture with yourself, I do not know you. All I can say is make clear any that has been misconstrued in this plane with others, if you haven't already.

This is just transitory, might want to peek at the Egyptian book of the .... for some guidance if you believe in this. If not, may your path be with the most of ease ,you lit this plane with your presence, and believe you me you are leaving at the most perfect of times.

I bid you adieu.

P.S.- When you get there inform the big guy/gal above of the following:

The crew are:

-Plundering the ship's supplies
-Tinkering with the temperature and life support controls
-Still looking for the instruction manual
-Engaging in bloody skirmishes in every corner of the vessel
-Increasing the size of the crew by 2 million PER WEEK
*And he needs to step up his arrival time asap
