Hello again my beautiful GLP family

Firstly, you guys blow me away and I feel so special and cared about! I've received flowers and phone calls, as well as prayers and music, kind thoughts, advice, emotional and spiritual support and so much more. I am touched to my core by everyone's heartfelt kindness sent my way. Thank you. I can only say thank you, because I am so overwhelmed by wonder and wonderfulness! Thank you!

Today I woke feeling more unwell than my usual level of unwell. I have picked up some respiratory bug. My hospice staff wasted no time getting things rolling to help me feeling better soon. I am drinking lots of water, with plenty of vitamin C and also doing other appropriate things to rid myself of this 'thing' ASAP!

Tomorrow I get a haircut, well actually a trim. It has been so long since I have had my hair trimmed I am excited!

Tonight my husband spent 20 minutes looking for kitty for me. We just could not find her. Until we did. She was under the folded blankets and quilt at the foot of my hospital bed.. Literally under 10 inches of folded blankets. For our trouble we received a dirty look when we found her. (<- bad)

Tomorrow my amazing granddaughter will be here to do what needs to be done. She is truly wise beyond her years and incredibly strong. I am so proud of her! I accidentally found she and I matching braclets. I had to buy them. I gave her one today and we put our bracelets on at the same time. They are a thin cuff style brackets and inside they are engraved with the words "Keep Fucking Going". Upon reading her bracelet she hugged me and said, we will - Keep fucking Going- til the end of this journey the we will keep fucking Going on the journey that comes after. She is so incredible, so strong, so loving. And we love each other so much. Yes, I am very blessed and very lucky. And so damn proud! What an amazing woman she is.
