I am glad you are able to do this, as the vultures have a tendency to come out of the woodwork in times like these !
My husband has started to do the same thing here,as he has advanced lung cancer that has spread,and has weeks or months left.This has given him some peace.

Tiger1, I have actually had someone ask me if they could have am item of mine. Who does that? Ask a terminally ill person for their stuff. I told the person (a casual acquaintance my husband knows) that when I am gone my husband will give him something I have carefully chosen, just for him, mr. Greedy butt. I then wrapped a package 50 assorted googly eyes in festive paper. I attached a note telling mr. Greedy butt to enjoy them! When I am gone my husband and sons will trip over each other to give this fool his inheritance.

Take care of yourself tiger1. Being a caregiver is hard in so many ways. A very important part of taking care of your husband is looking after yourself. I know from experience. I will keep you and your beloved husband in my thoughts and prayers.

Yes, he can bring them to me, but I think he does not want to watch the flying, crashing, breaking dishes show that "might" follow...

I washed dishes almost daily for close to 45 years. I draw the line at deathbed housework!

Not to mention, he would never do that. He is gentle, kind and loving. Our time together started out that way, I expect it will end the same way.
