Hello again all of my precious GLP friends,

Thank you for another day of music, messages, kind thoughts and love! So much love!

I am sitting on my hospital bed, my soft cloud, with a wonderful memory foam mattress cover and my favorite fuzzy blanket, a blanket my cat Jinxie helped me chose. My blanket features a picture of a cat in space, holding a slice of pizza in one paw and a taco in the other.

I am surrounded by flowers, sent by people who are amazingly kind, sent to brighten my days and my journey home. And I can nibble on some tasty treats sent to me by a loving soul who wanted to share with me her favorite childhood treats. I have had phone calls, email and more messages than I can count! Weather permitting a beautiful soul from GLP will come to my house to visit (and we'll probably get into mischief as well, cuz that's what we do )

And here I am, I have added more music to my playlists, including my ode to Joy playlist. Yes I have lots of versions of ode to Joy. I start every day listening to Ode to Joy! After my day of unplanned naps and hospice angels this is what I do. I come to GLP, to this thread and I float along on my journey held up by you guys, my friends. And I know I am blessed, and I know I am lucky. And I thank everyone of you for making me feel so loved, so blessed, so lucky and for helping me stay brave, even when I am scared in the night, when my world is quiet, I come here to this thread and I know I will be ok Thank you!

So now I shall stop writing for a while and have another nap. But I will try to be back later, to write more. To tell you what I can probably expect over the next few weeks/months.

Hello GLP friends

I have been nodding off to sleep often most of the last day or maybe day and a half...

Thank you for everything! I have been to this thread in between naps and visits from hospice angels. Oh, and I wake to eat chocolate eggs and drink bone broth and snuggle kitty.I started writing posts here twice earlier Today as I dozed off writing and some to see gibberish spewed thru my keyboard.

Tomorrow/Friday I am ordering grocery stuff and seeing hospice angels who visit....hopefully I will be able to post a bit more and answer messages. I DO READ AND APPRECIATE every message. It is hard to keep up, but I am trying. It is just crazy hard due to dozing off...

I wonder if you could please tell me what you think about what has been happening over the last 4 or 5 days/nights. It seems to me this happens only when I am awake..I see a woman in a rocking chair, maybe a shadow of a woman in a rocking chair is a better discription. I only see her through the corner of my eye. The woman "seems" older than me, her hair is up, she wears a shawl and a long skirt. The only thing I "feel" when I see her is curious. I don't feel happy or sad, nor fearful. I simply feel curious. As in who is she and why is she here. I also have no sense of who this woman is. She just is. Thoughts please?

I have tended to many people who were in your situation. Many report seeing these types of things. I could tell you many stories, but that would be too long, so I will post two that I felt I should share.

One was my grandfather, he had fell on the floor from a major stroke and was stuck like that overnight until the landlord found him the next morning. He told the landlord, that he was okay because two nice people took care of him all night long. There was no way any could have gotten in there because the door had a key lock from the inside. We think it was angels that were sent to attend to him. Granddad was a praying man and I have no doubt that God sent him these angels to attend to him.

Another was a patient that I had as a private duty nurse. He did not believe in Jesus or God and was not very nice to his wife while he was in better health. So he started getting to the point where he was semi-comatose and one night he and everyone in the house had an encounter.

The night nurse was watching him and all of a sudden the TV surged, the light in the house became super bright and the patients wife came running out of her bedroom. They were all startled and afraid. She said, there is a man in the street who kept screaming, I need to talk to Joe (name changed for privacy), I need to talk to Joe. This was the middle of the night and it looked like daylight where he was standing. All of a sudden it stopped.

When I got there in the morning they were all quite shaken and they told me what happened. Even the patient aroused from his comatose state and said that he was afraid. So, when everyone had left, I talked to Joe. He was in a semi-comatose state again and I told him that this was an angel who was sent to warn him that his time was short. I also said, that if he did not know Jesus I would pray for him to accept him. He nodded yes. We prayed that prayer and the patient started crying as we were praying and he thanked me. Joe died two nights later, but I know he went on to be with the Lord because of that angel and a simple prayer.

I don't know what your lady in the rocking chair means, but I hope this helps you figure it out. Ask God and he will reveal to you what this is.
