UPDATE: Our Beloved Monkey Flower Has Passed - 7 April 2020 - ljs Hello my GLP family  I am still falling asleep easily, but I think I am adjusting to it somewhat. And I have always liked naps, so now I have many mini naps.  Weekends there are no visits from hospice angels, so weekends seem a bit longer now. I do have family and friends visit on weekdays as well as weekends. A good friend was going to pay me an overnight visit, but she is sick so we will plan another time soon. Thank you everyone for the new music! I love my growing playlists.  I have decided the woman in the rocker I sometimes see from the corner of my eye is a friend, and she will reveal her purpose (other than rocking in a chair near to my bed) when and if she so chooses to do so. She is just part of my changing world/reality/perception. Time is sometimes odd to me now. At times my "naps" seem like hours and are only minutes, sometimes just a moment or 2. Other time I will nap to find an hour or so have passed, but it feels just a minute or 2. In many ways my life has a surreal feeling. Not in a bad way though. I can not find words to explain this in a better way than I have. I will keep you updated it I can find words to explain it... I need to read GLP threads now. I need my fix  I will write more soon    the rat dances for us while kitty and I listen to the best of ELO  . |

He said people were coming to visit with him, and he guessed that was what happened as you neared death. As he became comatose, he would reach his hand up and out as though he was trying to touch something that was beyond his grasp. It seems to me this happens only when I am awake..I see a woman in a rocking chair, maybe a shadow of a woman in a rocking chair is a better discription. I only see her through the corner of my eye. The woman "seems" older than me, her hair is up, she wears a shawl and a long skirt. The only thing I "feel" when I see her is curious. I don't feel happy or sad, nor fearful. I simply feel curious. As in who is she and why is she here. I also have no sense of who this woman is. She just is. Thoughts please? I hope everyone has a Happy Valentine's Day. I appreciate all of the kindness from everyone. Good thoughts, well wishes, prayers, flowers, rocks, greeting cards, messages here at GLP as well as email. She really could not speak or move anymore, but just before she passed, she all of a sudden sat straight up in her bed and said in a very clear voice: "Yes, I'll be right there!" No surprises! I got $18,000 from my father in law, he had life insurance on my husband.. he gave it to me, I turned it into $1,000,000! You have a strong family bond, and everything will be fine. Or, you're seeing an Angel watching you; I seem to have two with me at all times that will show themselves to me and others at times.
