Hello Dear GLP family..

Most all of my meds arrived today. Waiting on a couple of items, and those should arrive tomorrow. I slept a lot today, probably just from worrying about hospice concerns? I just ate dinner (just a bit of rice with cheese). I also got a call from my hospice Angel nurse, Julia. She is awesome. Tomorrow I have a phone appointment with my Hospice social worker. She checks on how I am doing emotionally and mentally. She says I am doing remarkably well. To that I think maybe, yes, but I do have comments of being afraid. Mostly of pain, because I have had a few bad times. Much better now though. (Thank you Mr wizard) I also can knock myself out with meds as well, if I need too. Actually, thank you again Mr wizard!)

Ohio Chic! I really thought I posted here earlier to thank you? Maybe I did, but it so I can't find it. Thank you, beautifully written and every important point covered. Except for the part where hospice workers, Especially hospice Angel nurses are such very special people. Nurses are my heroes anyway, so that makes hospice angel nurse super heroes in my eyes. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I very much appreciate you taking the time to explain and educate people.

I really liked the music you guys posted today. I love big band, swing, old jazz, r&b, soul, motown, rock and roll, heavy medal, hip-hop, blue grass, country and most anything. I don't like rap that 'speaks' poorly of women of is violent. Kitty and I both start to scream if Ethel Merman starts to scream/sing. I think it could be genetic as the same thing happened to my dad.

I will be back later. Kitty saw the tinfoil hat and is now demanding her own. I love every one of you. You brighten my days very much! Thank you!

monkeyflower and kitty..who are some of my dinner too. I don't eat her kitty kibble, but she eats my people for. It's ok though she makes up for it by living in my lap!

yeah the cat just took a huge dump I had to clean the litter immediately. definitely expressing a dislike for this shit show we got going on in the world! Great you are here gracing us with your much adored presence, Monkeyflower! :)

Good Morning GLP Family

Kitty and I just shared half of a bagel. I gotta try for solid food.

Yesterday, I had to start a prednisone taper down. Well, I didn't have to, but my breathing was rough. I like to breath so I am obeying my angel nurse. I am very very blessed to have my nurse check on me by phone each day. Not to mention Mr Wizard always happily answer any questions I have.

Kitty and I have another long busy day of reading, drawing and resting to do. My husband might turn tv off and play some black jack with me. I hope so. Kitty likes me to win her pennies.

Out of vanilla ice cream, so going to try just plain rocky road. I have not had that ice cream in forever. I hope it's as tasty as ever, or as I remember it to be.

Today is blue grass day, so I am listening to the best of Flagg and Scruggs sing ' 'down the road'...every time I get the blues I walk the soles right off my shoes. Dunno why I love her so, gal of me lives down road.' Mostly blue grass makes me cheerful!

So what is everyone doing today? Louis, have you put masks on any other one else in your yard? Does an Amarillo need a mask? These are the burning questions of MY day. But then again (quoting kitty) my head ain't right. Naturally when she tells me this I smile and thank her! I am sure she is right and with the world so off my not right head helps lots.

I am off for now. Will read some GLP (gotta get my fix) than at 2 I take rd meds I just take each day at the same time. At the same time I will eat 2 tiny chocolate eggs of love . Tomorrow I will start having 1 a day as I am running low. I love my chocolate eggs of love , chocolate eggs of love lady friend every time I eat one it is like a hug from you and I hug you back then too. It is remarkable how much love a tiny egg can hold.

I watched a movie today night/this morning. Actually I have seen the movie many times and I love the movie. It is called House of D. Robin Williams and David Decovney. (Pardon spellin') I really highly recommend it. Kitty gives it 5 pass out of 5 paws. It is just a good movie I watch now and then (I have a few movies I really like, and I bought them for my kindle, never paid more than 5.00 a movie though, cuz I am cheap when buying movies)

So I shall return, I am trying hard to stay out of trouble. Actually, I am not trying hard, but I don't much have the energy to make trouble, and besides I wouldn't know how to make trouble. Please, I am open to ideas!

monkeyflower and kitty...kitty might be making trouble, laying on my lap purring. I don't think so though, no claw marks on me now...

I am always impressed by the courage and positivism you beam beautiful Flower. Such an example.

It is also a message for all of us, in the situation we are in globally, to never abandon hope and fight, to find a light, no matter how dark it is and stick together.

On another note, we need to keep an eye on Kitty. She drinks, she gambles, she sometimes needs correctional jail time for mistaking oxygen tubes for snakes (is it really a mistake??)

But it sounds to me she might be heading to the dark side. Darth Kitty comes to mind.. But I might be mistaken. I truly hope I am.

A year ago I took in five fox kits (fve weeks old). I have five cats and two dogs who loved/like/tolerated the kits. (Named Huxley, Zeppelin, Jimmy Hendrix, Janice Joplin/Juanita and Dolly Parton.) Each morning I walked on the beach with my coffee and the foxes, dogs and at least one cat (Sufi). This is my favorite video.
