I think you have it backwards. I think the way it works, is when someone reaches prominence, like becoming POTUS or marrying an asshole like Harry, they MAKE-UP genealogical charts to "prove" they're actually related to the BRF in some manner. It's like their ticket into the "Club". Some I can understand probably ARE related, like the Bush family, but Obama is NOT related to the BRF, nor is Meghan Markle.
