No one person or government should have more power than the other, otherwise the one with more power will use and abuse the one with less.

So for a strong and equal society, everyone must be able to either own/carry a gun, or chose to have someone else carry a gun for them (aka. police), but the individual must have the right to individually choose which one they prefer, or again there is inequality.

Example:
Just because one person doesn't think snow tires are necessary in winter, doesn't mean nobody should be able to have snow tires except for government vehicles.

Still got mine, hell I have more every month. On my street alone our neighbors counted 20,000 rounds of ammo, and about 176 firearms. We can literally arm a company of men in full kit from 5 homeowners. Thats one small street in one small town with less than 2000 people. Get fucked.
