An 11 (is that even possible?) would cause untold damage.. but it wouldn't kill most people west of Winnipeg. It would probably not be a good day at all for anyone without a few hundred clicks of the epicenter, sure.. but then you have the Rockies, the plains, thousand km's of distance, millions upon millions of square km's. An EQ big enough to disrupt that would split the earth asunder and no one at all on the planet would survive :D

I got this gut feeling that the one that will tear apart WA state and OR will happen this year as a precusor to the big one.

Its not going to happen like that. However, for years have had premonitions. Continents change and from the Coast to the Rocky's, there is a subduction zone with alot of upward movement and mountain building.

I can fee strange stretching and sharp upthrust sensations under the ground. I get vertigo from it at times.

Alberta is on solid plate, its not subduction zone.

There is no known fault long enough to produce an 11.0 earthquake. Fantasy doom dream, go back to sleep. The scale does not even go that high so a major fail. At least know what you are talking about when you role play doom

Geologically impossible. The only thing that could cause something like that is an asteroid impact. It would be felt worldwide, catastrophic.
