no its fucking not ghey-ass. im a ChemE. Every EnvE I know did undergrad as CHemE and their MS in Environmental Engineering.

The supervising environmental engineer (dude) at my facility is an incredibly fucking sharp guy. Way better than the process engineers.

Environmental Engineering is the inevitable consequence of having so many regulations regarding waste characterization and management.


for OP: without a doubt the easiest branch of engineering is civil. just look at that dumbass all women construction team whose bridge collapsed as soon as it was finished. These girls actually got a degree and you saw what came of the degree.

the hardest branch is electrical or mechanical.

I guarantee you could get a job in the states as a process control engineer (chemical) with about $150,000 as your salary. you would just have to find someone to sponsor your H1-B.

You should boycott every road, bridge, traffic light, building, skyscraper, sewage delivery/treatment, water delivery/treatment, dam, etc., etc. that you utilize every day for your survival because a civil engineer had his hand in it!

A few women can become real engineers and be good at it. They really don't need preferences in hiring. They number far less than the percentage that the diversity idiots want. Because they can't get enough real female engineers, they give special preferences in hiring and extra information to the female students and potential female engineers. There's no such group as "Men in Computing" or "Men of ACM" - but there are female equivalents. Women work as a hive and can be a dangerous power group. Men are solitary by nature compared to women.

This is true. I've studied both. The difference is that the engineer has to mentally perform a great deal of work on relatively little data(or it's all iterative), whereas the doctor has massive data and relatively little in the way of data manipulation. The medical field is largely a data gathering function and doing a best fit to a database. That, and of course, the manual skills of surgery and other hands on techniques.

In both cases, lives may be at risk. In the case of the engineer, vast amounts of property and dollars can also be compromised.

Civil and environmental engineering involve a great deal of interaction with bureaucrats and officials. Electrical and mechanical - much less so.

Learn HVAC - Heating and Airconditioning - it takes a mechanical mind to design systems - you could even go for commercial with more training

Make money while those guys are still in school for years and years and have to pay it back

You can make good money in engineering, but you'll rarely be around girls and most girls don't want an engineer for a husband. They claim that we're no fun, even though we can fix anything that they can imagine.

Most of us have few to no social skills. They're not required classes, or even available as electives.

to the OP, go for mechatronics or electronics engineering. There isn't as much calculus and higher type math. My degree was very math intensive, fyi.

The EE field is getting very calculus heavy if you're doing medical imaging, and each flavor is a bit different. The common reality is that it's calc intensive. This is both in the product design(electronics and magnets) and in the computational processing.

Other areas are generally more logic intensive.

Asking what's the easiest engineering degree does not bode well for a career as an engineer. It's hard. Follow your passion and accept it'll be hard work. That's why engineers are always in demand and are paid well.

I'm an Electrical Engineer. If I recall correctly from my college days, the easiest engineering degree to get is an Industrial Engineering degree. Do some research and make sure it's something that will interest you though. Believe me, engineering isn't something that you want to pursue just for the money. You need to actually have an interest in whatever type of engineering that you pursue. Otherwise the 40+ hours per week that you work will feel like torture, no matter how much money you're earning.
