58 days into lock down here. Day 1 we had no cases at all, now we have 380 odd and 2 deaths in last 2 days (post death testing) ....

Most have come in the last 2 weeks, crossing open borders from India and bringing it with them cos they don't want to quarantine in a camp..... This bs tight lock down (no going outside house, no shops open bar 1 or 2 veg places for 2 hrs in morning) is gonna go on for months if not yrs

Right now, I could stay home for a LONG time. Now I am just tightening up my preps for a Mad Max scenario by winter. Hopefully it won't happen, but I don't see how it can't happen. I am ready to survive for a long time, now I'm just getting my comfort and special items added to.

I'm building a new shed/chicken coop, heated, so I will have eggs and baby chicks for barter, should I need them.

Kentucky reports new cases of pediatric multisystem inflammatory syndrome



Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear reported two new cases of a troubling new syndrome that may be associated with Covid-19 infection.

The cases include a 5-year-old, who was admitted to the hospital on Saturday but is now able to go home, and an 11-year-old who is currently hospitalized.

The state’s first case, a 10-year-old, is still hospitalized, Beshear said.

SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence trends in healthy blood donors during the COVID-19 Milan outbreak


Objectives: The Milan metropolitan area in Northern Italy was among the most severely hit by the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak. The epidemiological trends of mild COVID-19 are however still unknown. The aim of this study was to examine the seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 infection in healthy asymptomatic adults, the risk factors, and laboratory correlates.


Conclusions: SARS-CoV-2 infection was already circulating in Milan at the outbreak start. Social distancing may have been more effective in younger individuals, and by the end of April 4.4-10.8% of healthy adults had evidence of seroconversion. Asymptomatic infection may affect lipid profile and blood count.

Do we have a comparison graph. Say a death per capita Of the same time period for A few previous years. Would be very interesting to see. Could be that nothing much has changed at all.

I mean I looked at the cdc’s own site and it says the total deaths for the elderly is down on the last three years. So....

A Florida man who initially believed the coronavirus was a “fake crisis” that was “blown out of proportion” is now hospitalized along with his wife — and is sounding a cautionary note about the deadly bug.

“After 3 weeks I have come to accept that my wife may pass away and the peace I have about it is that I know without a shadow of a doubt that she will be going home to be with the Lord but I also do believe in miracles and I’m holding on to the chance that she may get healed but if not I am thankful for her I know we’ve been married for 8 years,” he said.

Wife was doing the test yesterday,we will get the answer today.I cant do the test because i dont work in healthcare.
Ive been feeling verry low for a couple of days.I have the shivers without the fever,pain in my eyes.total pain in my body.I do have fibromyalgia so im always in pain,but this is a bit different,it kind of fills up on top of the pain I already have.Cant sleep have no apatite and constant headache.Ive been boosting with vitamin c 3 grams a day and vitamin d and minerals since mid Januari.I live in a forest so ive been out in the sun everyday.I Hardly met any person for months now,but as I said ,my wife works in a carehome.
And the gowernment dond give a shit about carehomes.Its just a lot of talk but nothing happens.
At the same time our country is getting robbed big time.
The bailouts are going to the mega rich and the small buissneses get nothing!
