They are making a big deal out of Corona because the infected/death count that China has given us is completely false. The reality is, China has quarantined millions of people because they believe that the food riots, the panic, and the economic problems that such a quarantine will cause are less of a problem than allowing the virus to continue to spread unopposed. That speaks volumes about the true threat this virus poses.

This is the largest quarantine in human history. You don't quarantine 60 million people for a viral outbreak if the virus in question is less of a problem than the flu.

We only know the ages of the 1st 17 deaths. Most were over 60. Compromised immune systems was not a common underlying condition in the 1st 17. I don't recall seeing it at all, in fact.

There are several reports of children getting sick, but it will be days/a week? before we know the outcomes.

I edited my post to ask what specific biological factors make a Spanish flu different from other viruses? I know what made 1918 so bad (the death rate), but what particular aspects of the DNA of that year's virus made it such so more fatal? And how would they compare (or not) to the Wuhan virus?

Then too, are Chinese authorities treating Wuhan as a medical version of the way America's Democrats are treating impeachment?

The level of deceit and unscrupulousness among the governing elite throughout the world is way greater - at least here in the US and certainly in China - than I originally estimated.

Not sure how far the medical/health implications will go for the Wuhan virus. But some of the financial ones should have at least some negative effect on our economy.

Why would you believe the Chinese Government? There’s a thread 3 days old with a nurse from Wuhan stating that 90,000 are infected. Multiple videos were seen late last night are gone.
