Chinese Health Commission: Nearly 2,000 Chinese medical staff were infected by the virus and 6 died

A senior Chinese health official announced Friday (February 14) that 1,716 medical workers were infected during the fight against the coronavirus, of which 6 died.

Zeng Yixin, deputy director of the National Health Committee of China, said at a press conference on Friday afternoon that 1,716 cases of medical cases were reported across the country, accounting for 3.8% of the nation's confirmed cases, of which 6 people died unfortunately.
