evidently there were 2 scratches, both the #1 and #2 favored horses scratched...one due to "skin issues...WTF?

Probably the skin issues are due to recent flooding at Gulfstream park...(Rain Rot).
These horse racing journalists are just RECKLESS with their facts and their reporting...
WHO SCRATCHED THE HORSE??? I pointed this out yesterday if i could see it there is NO WAY his trainer who was RIGHT THERE in the video and posted the video missed it.

Isn't it odd that Spendthrift Farms who bought the now lame horse with a broken leg for $22 million (Omaha Beach) who is now going to stand for stud with them has not EVEN MENTIONED the fact he has a broken cannon bone and scratched from the Pegasus Cup or mentioned AT ALL what their plans are now for him, not even if he will live or die???? YET they ARE tweeting today???

So as it turns out BOYH the first and second GAVORED horses "Omaha Beach" AND "Spun To Run" scratched from Saturdays Pegasus World Cup.

With no entry fee and a $3 million prize Gary West with "Maximum Security" (original 2019 Kentucky Derby winner who was disqualified - would have found this race to be easy money or low hanging fruit. Unfortunately he CHOSE to go to Dubai and race him instead...

Agree...... Big name trainers run plenty of cripples, sore, etc. that list starts at the top(NY, KY, CALI, Fl.) and goes to the bottom(Penn, Virginia, Texas, La. etc). How bout when Amoss claims them horses for 30 or 40 and they run back for 15k, they sure aren’t sound.

let's not forget that shoe loss was at the root of Omaha 's initial problems. he was top of the field in CA, then ship to FL leaving and nothing to nail to...obvious to me what happened.
