There's nothing better for the price and you can get one new most likely. all wheel drive, not much HP but from what I have seen here they are light enough to do just fine. If you can check one out that should be considered. |

Sal Monella User ID: 7796521 United States 01/23/2020 07:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The roads here are patched and bumpy and you have motorcycles zipping around you like flies. It’s video game driving. Sure it’s a dangerous country if you’re a dumbass but otherwise it’s fun as hell. You need something agile and speedy for passing. Plus I have the added complication of having an insanely inclined curvy driveway. I have to have AWD or some sort of serious traction control. Quoting: Catseye I’m thinking about a used Lexus or a new Beemer but I want other ideas. The Lexus is reliable but the Beemers are known money pits. Will a new car warranty prevent any new car from being a money pit? Routine maintenance on anything is much cheaper here. I could never afford a Beemer back in Florida, for instance. I already have an 2009 X5 4.8x with a blown motor, the second in 14 months. I want to fix it and keep it to have to drive once in awhile when I need an SUV and would prefer to buy a car to drive most of the time. Basically, I want comfort and speed while hugging the road. And for somewhere around $50K. cars I had in the past: ‘85 Trans Am, ‘87 Corvette, ‘90 Formula Firebird, 2011 Cadillac STS but this X5 is the most fun to drive any thoughts from fellow driving enthusiasts? from what I can tell online, Beemers are the most fun but Lexus will end up costing much less. You can pick up used ferraris or porches for that amount of money, but it'll get stolen in 48 hours in the D.R. |

They made you drive everywhere, shopping, school, work, etc. They made so many places you can drive 2. And you are lazy and weak, because your body is not used to walking and fresh air, like your ancestors who didn't have cars. They were much stronger than you. They were careful with their time, and they didn't have devices, to distract them. When you are stuck in traffic look at people around you, they are slaves just like you. And all of you are addicted to gasoline. Because you are 2 lazy 2 grow your own food. And you just live there, thinking that you are "special", one of a kind, while being like everyone. Have fun buying your next cage on wheels. Good job. |

Very easy to maintain and work on yourself, plentiful parts and great for rugged roads but is also a good everyday city commuter. Bad mpgs is the only negative but it'll save you money down the road with the reliability. Great resale value as well. |
Catseye (OP) User ID: 78377458 Dominican Republic 01/23/2020 07:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Listen you want a reliable car? Then forget anything new. Get yourself and early to mid 2000s Benz E350D diesel and ride the fuck out. They're fairly luxurious, fairly cheap to own, and have pep. Otherwise stick to an Accord or Camry. If you want to go S.U.V. then tahoe's, surbabans, or 4 runners are great. Trucks, Chevy, ford, dodge your straight. They all make descent trucks. If you're worried about ego then just take another Audi or Bimmer and continue to be fucked with no line. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78176210 Camry was my first car here, too slow and boring the Benz you mentioned has nice specs, hp and torque look good, plus traction control with RWD, I’ll check for any for sale, thanks Forgive your enemies, it messes with their heads.
