this is why we need to take the guns away, trigger happy murderer psychopaths itching to use it at a moments notice.
If he just let the robber get away, a few hundred bucks would have been stolen, cashier would keep less in the box the next time, nobody would have died.
Shame to all the psychopaths in this thread cheering on. At least the nsa will build a better psych profile of you for your replies, which is likely the purpose of this thread.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78084384 The bible says if a man comes into your house to rob you and you take him out, the blood is on his hands not yours Quoting: Jake This wasn't in someones private residence it was a business establishment and there were no lives threatened the guy just wanted the cash. Keep trying to justify murder because you simply -want- an excuse yourself to kill another human being, which God would still expect you to feel remorseful for having to be forced to take another life. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78309768 The thief did have a gun, I would argue the cashier was threatened. Sad situation as those thugs looked like kids. I wonder if that thief did not have a father at home telling him you pull a gun, you might get shot. Quoting: Soundman And yes the only arguable threat would be the cashier's life was at stake. To which still begs the question, whether that guy had the right to take preemptive action without knowing for sure, or not doing anything and hoping the robbers just left with the cash. Then you could say, 'he might have prevented someone else from being robbed and shot', which is also true of course. But when do we ever have the right to ordain the future of peoples lives?? Only the devil tries to do that. Another scenario is that the robbers would've walked away and been killed by another gang , or arrested and actually have criminal charges put against them and a chance to redeem themselves, even if unlikely. Or are we truly at the end times when people assume there is no redemption even for the darkest of individuals? Much less, a young thief who was dead before he knew what happened.
