BRIEF User ID: 39607259 United States 01/28/2020 07:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A lot of people I know (myself included) have been hit by the worst infection they have ever experienced, which seems to be being diagnosed as either flu with bronchitis or pneumonia. Quoting: keybored Are the doctors lying about what is causing this outbreak and is it related to or in fact, the coronavirus and they are just not saying? Or do they not know because they aren't testing for it so are just assuming? I've had it for over almost 6 weeks now and it's still not fully gone. Symptoms include - Hot and chills Nonstop coughing 24 hours for days Difficulty breathing Feeling absolutely exhausted when doing the slightest thing Bad throat infection Sweating at night enough to drench all the way through to the matress Seeming to improve slightly then knocked back down the next day No medication is helping Every single person I have spoken to says this is not like anything they have ever had before. The soaking night sweats make me think it's Hantavirus or related...Rats carry it I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |

Zenyatta User ID: 77093541 United States 01/28/2020 08:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I got double hit, got it at the end of November, and again in January. I work in a company of about 30 people, and 12 were out at once. I am pretty much over it now, just a very slight lingering cough but mostly gone. It was awful at the worst of it though, fever and headache. The outcome is not preordained. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 77421124 Canada 01/28/2020 08:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I currently don’t have any cold/flu symptoms but my energy is not 100% back yet. I take a lot of vitamin C and D3 and have been doing so for years now. It seems to help. I wash my hands like a germaphobe and I usually can go the whole winter without catching anything. Not this year though. |

The soaking night sweats make me think it's Hantavirus or related...Rats carry it I didn't get the night sweats but my hubby and mum both did. Never seen the quilts and matress so soaked before and it was the whole length of his body. We were all infected by the same person but had slightly different symptoms. He was diagnosed as having pneumonia and I was diagnosed as bronchitis. The person who infected us was in the hospital for 3 days and they told her she had bronchitis. If they are not for testing WHAT the infection is being caused by, they need to start doing it straight away. |

Bacterial pneumonia. Took a round of the naicin type antibiotics and still feel sore from the Christmas I'll see Now I've got a urinary tract infection probably from the antibiotics. Taking chanca piedra for that and hoping to avoid antibiotics |

It was awful at the worst of it though, fever and headache. You are not supposed to be able to get reinfected with the same disease (unless it mutates), as you have already built up the antibodies to fight it. This one just feels so different to everything else that I am sure that it came from the splicing together in a lab of several different nasty things. |

thetrickybigguy User ID: 56638406 United States 01/28/2020 08:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i haven't had the flu in 18 years. can't remember the last time i had a cold or a sore throat. i am one healthy individual. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living. ~ Life is about choices, you get to make them each and every day of your life. ~ Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.~ Only in America... do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poloi' in Greek meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.~ “When a government is dependent for money upon the bankers, they and not the government leaders control the nation. This is because the hand that gives is above the hand that takes. Financiers are without patriotism and without decency.” If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain. Winston Churchill |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 30459451 United States 01/28/2020 08:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I learned that when exposed to dry cold air, it drys out that mucus and inflamed all that respiratory tissue and made me susceptible to everything floating around. I'm just about over it now, slight cough left. Best thing I did to speed my recovery was doing a few 48 hour fasts, 72 would have been better, any other day I eat one meal a day, and gargling and drinking my piss. Preparing to take on this virus, I'll be adding baking soda to my daily snake juice to raise my PH and protect my kidneys along with 1000% of vitamin C. I also have a have a lot of garlic, turmeric, and ginger to act as blood thinners if and when my family comes down with this. Good Luck |

Hubby had his blood tested for all the normal things and the doc said he is healthier than most 30 years olds and he's 20 years older than them. I am rarely ill too. |

People could have had a first generational strain dropped on them to use as incubators for mutation and vectoring purposes. The upside might be an immunity to the virus here on in, if that were the case. |
