You have a well, which is potable water. Likely, your pond water is not potable. Potable means that the water is safe to drink. Portable is quite different. I have a well, a pond and a creek. Only one of which is safe to drink from without treatment and filtration.

Should water sources and electricity fail to ensure the operation of your toilet, you will need a composting toilet or your ground water will eventually be contaminated potentially rendering your well unsuitable as drinking water. This assumes you have a hand pump to get water from the well once there is no power for your well pump.

While I have multiple Berkey filters and don't see that as an issue until at least 75% of the ill prepared have left us, their decomposing corpses will also be a problem for me maintaining clean water to drink/bathe/clean with.

Think long term. Those who do and have thought short term will be in the aforementioned 75%.

Estradiol is just the medical term for estrogen, and yeah its used for menopause when women's levels start crashing and they experience hot flashes. My problem is I have too much and need less. Its caused me to have miscarriages in the past, but my doctor and I have (touch wood) possibly cured it now.

Saw Palmetto works similar in action to prescription Finasteride, which is prescribed for an enlarged prostrate, so he was right. Trouble is it blocks testosterone, which is why men hate it. I wouldnt use it if I was a man.
