Yesterday on sunday we had 20.4% positivity ... not good.

+ 9.338 new positive cases

98.862 swab tests (50.000 less tests than yesterday).

Master DR, I have no words to describe the gratitude for your work.

I've been following your thread since the first post, and after validating and re-validating the numbers (because I'm also a master of numbers), I decided in January to remodel my whole life to escape the horrible future that awaits the cities.

I used all the credit lines I had, (fuck the banks), invested everything in crypto and physical gold, recovered the investments, spent everything on resources useful for survival, and have lived in the jungle, building a refuge with my own hands. It has been months of a lot of struggle, but it is just what is expected of a family man, who is a man and defends his family.

I quit my job, burned my name at the banks, and I'm called crazy even by my mother. I chose the path of no return. In my country it is said "I burned the caravels". But I'm still sure I did the right thing.

Hundreds of people had access to your work through me. Its reach is not limited to visitors to this forum, nor is it limited to interweb users.

Govt tried to hold out against it, medical authorities -NPHET - won that battle. Ireland has a very shaky public health service at the best of times.

I hope you are not trolling, but if not, you kind of overreacted, albeit I think in the mid term you might be proven to have made a very good decision.

It's good when knowledge beats politics. However, unless we all agree to a global confinement, one country or each country making this kind of very short term decisions, will only prolong the agony.

The current lvl 5 proposal in Ireland is a "soft" lvl 5...because schools remain open.

Calling what Ireland is preparing to do , a full lock-down, is very far from what actually is.

If there's any level of compliance. Public mood is fugly. Many elderly adopting a 'fuck it' stance. Local radio full of people not going to bother with the various measures. Everyone, from hoaxtards to full doomers, furious with government.

Might be an interesting foreshadowing of how the public,generally, in the West react/respond to second/third lockdowns.

Word from here, is that IF it records 15,000 plus Daily infections By Friday, a lockdown will be issued.

Yesterday was 8000, still very high, I wonder what this week will bring.

You will get to around 13,500 this week, give it +/- 10%.


If Czechia hits 15k this week...going to be bad.

13,500 or so isn’t far off, I wonder if they’ll consider it enough to go forward with the lockdown. One thing I’ve learnt recently is that these numbers can just jump up out of nowhere.

Tbh it’d be a good thing if it hits 15k then is locked down. As if it hits 13k or something and doesn’t qualify for lockdown and they leave it be, then that’d be worse I would imagine.

They will leave the kindergartens as the last places to close as this helps the working parents to actually work. But from what I understand, until they lockdown the kindergartens also, this is still leaving an avenue for great spread. They really are in a catch 22 here. Also saying there isn’t money to bail out this time round.

And this is why everyone is afraid to lock-down again. But they will have to do it anyway, at some point.


Czechia should have locked-down at 5k/ cases, or when they reached 80% ICU.

Waiting for 15k cases / day was and is stupid af.


Czechia lost the control of the epidemic, and while a lock-down (a REAL one) will bring back the situation under control, it will take months. Not 1 or 2, but more like 4 months, if they wait until the end of this month.

Note: Campania region has only 15 ICU bed still free (unoccupied) ... That's why they say a curfew is needed.

But I think a total lockdown would be the only effective containment measure...

The “rationale” behind that kind of curfew, which is the same actually being applied in my country, is to avoid partying and the so called “night life” where infections spread easily. It doesn’t work anyway as people just sleep over and it actually worsens things.

I think the rationale is "we don't want to close anything, we don't care about public health, but we have to pretend we care to fool the people"

My thoughts exactly / doing nothing looks so bad.

Therefore they put in measures to make it look good and put the pressure on the population if things don’t go well.

So what I call the halfway point in the day, they’re referring to as the interim. At the interim point of the day which recorded so far the highest daily infection rate (11,104) the interim number was 5668.

Today the interim number is the highest ever 6814 so this is likely setting up to be a new daily record when the final tally is in tomorrow. It won’t be far off the 13k I imagine, but again it’s new territory. That number could already go 25k I don’t know.

I like to note what the interim number is, rather than just wait until posting tomorrow, as it also helps me follow the patterns. Generally when it was in the 1k range, it read 2-3k the day after. 3k interim would read 4-5k the day after, so a high 6k is presumably going to be around 13k+ This has been billed as a crucial week by yourself and in the media here. It really is for many reasons. Death rate could also be a new record again tomorrow.

20,468 cases, just shy of 16% positivity.

Almost 50% increase from last Tuesday.



Pretty bad.


Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, France should do around 200k test / day.


If they hit 17-18% on Friday / Saturday, at over 200k tests, they are getting damn close to 40k cases, which is the point where they will no longer be able to control the spread.
