After 4 months of slow, but steady decline, the infection rate and deaths in Brazil have suddenly picked up sharply in the last few days. It's apparently almost summer in Brazil now. What's up with that? Are we seeing the start of a 2nd wave there in the summer no less? Really strange.

The average time before antibodies start to fade (according to studies)? Also 3 months...  Here in Brazil we recently had municipal elections, with weeks of people crowding the streets cheering for their "corrupt favorites". On the day of the vote thousands of people shared the same enclosed space, after crowding in a row, they touched the same objects. Additionally, we had a very intense rainy season, cloudy weather in almost the whole country for weeks and weeks. I'm just guessing, but there must be some influence on the numbers. The people in Brazil are in a state of total illusion, it is rare to find someone who cares. The country is very large and many people are deluded by not having the problem within their field of vision. Contrary to general belief, in Brazil we have an EXTRAORDINARY health system that is handling the situation with extreme competence, which contributes to the population not seeing the reality around us. And the numbers are clearly in an exponential turn. And here we have Dengue. It will be a tragedy of unimaginable proportions.
