WTF!!! FLORIDA being EVACUATED???

Yep I feel ya. I'd give anything to have a legit toasted Cuban sandwich & a shot of eye-popping Cuban coffee. That coffee was like high octane tar. I lived in Homestead, KendaL, & my 3rd time out there rented a home in Coconut Grove. Big ass banyan trees. Felt like living in a city nestled in a tropical jungle, surrounded by the most beautiful women on Earth. It's a real trip just doing simple things like grocery shopping with Latino music blasting over loud speakers in the parking lots. Made me want to tango in & out the joint. And A1A... that entire stretch of road is one never-ending party. Loved it!

The thing I miss most is the color palettes of everyday life. When I returned back north, every time it felt like I went from a color explosion of red & pink & green & orange to dreary old colonial brick & overcast skys. It felt like death. And the sunsets... I lived on the water & most nights, I swear there was almost some kind of pink supernatural glow over everything 15 minutes before the sun vanished over the horizon. We don't get that weird effect up the coast.

I'm in South Florida.

Very slight tremors were felt in a few buildings in Miami-Dade county.

Just as a precaution they evacuated those buildings.

I'm in tornado alley sitting on a fault line that will eventually tear the midwest apart. Florida doesn't seem so bad from here. With hurricanes at least you have time to think about it and make plans.
