I work with two chemists. One from china. one from japan. chinese dude has been here since 2002. He goes to china once a year for 3 weeks. Japanese dude goes home once a year for 2 weeks.

all of the other engineers i work with are indian. they all go home for 3 weeks every single year to renew their h1-b.

Not eating take out when I have two buffets less than a mile from me. Just went last week. Thought about Corona when I noticed most of the staff were new.

Probably have a better chance getting shot at a McDonald's because some idiot was pissed the M was upside down on the whipped cream in their coffee. Or caught up in a bloody brawl at Popeye's.

Will be hitting up my favorite local Chinese takeout place tomorrow after work.
Might drive 30 miles away to my nearest Harbor Freight on Friday and hit my other favorite Chinese takeout in that city.

I stopped eating it four or five years ago when I was in the front of the line picking up my food. The lady was getting my egg rolls out of the frier and dropped them on the floor. She didn’t think anyone saw it, and then proceeded to use them to get my egg rolls.

I caused the biggest scene, I turned around to the people in line behind me and said “Did you that? She dropped the tongs on the floor and used them to get my food”. Everyone but one person left.

So new people started working there two years ago so I tried it and the food was good, but I noticed that the pieces of “beef” looked smaller than they used to. The idea got into my head that they were serving rat instead of cat and that’s why the pieces of meat was smaller, so I haven’t been back since.

Went in to my local Great Wall for some egg rolls.

Everyone looked sick. The chef was sneezing all over the food. Guy taking orders looked green.

I went to taco johns for some potato oles instead.

I used to work at a Chinese restaurant but the employees were all Vietnamese and a couple Koreans no Chinese so there's that

I’m a network security engineer and you’re right, they mostly come alone. They live 30 to an apartment, mattresses all over the floors, hotpots for cooking noodles or rice everywhere. It’s like a hive. Thoroughly disgusting. I saw this first in grad school when I went to a chinaman classmates (from Singapore) apartment, and made the same mistake when he needed a ride to work. Indians are the same way.

I like Chinese foods. Im sad this has happened and I feel badly for all the restaurant owners and everyone else that are losing money over this. Most of them are poor to begin with and this will only add to their misery. If you havnt been their you can't know how devastating this is.
