I do enjoy a nice China buffet about every two months. Probably go next weekend. Anonymous Coward User ID: 78243715 United States 02/24/2020 04:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I’ve not touched Chinese food in over a decade. Why? Because after I wandered into a Chinese deli/market in San Francisco and witnessed butchers dressed in filthy, blood and entrail-covered uniforms ripping shells right off living turtles while.....I’ll never forget this....tossing animal parts and blood against the wall where it all stuck and congealed and rotted. It was never cleaned! Imagine going to a butcher featuring filthy bloody walls, counters and floor and trying not to gag when you glanced down at the buckets of dying frogs for sale. I am aware of cultural differences, but this place was beyond filthy and yet, people were eating in there like it’s no big deal that some gasping fish cut in half, thrown on dirty ice 3 days ago, is still flapping around on ice right next to your table. Yes, a fish cut in half. In two parts. Still flapping around even though rot was starting to set in. Nightmarish. Never could I touch even the most Americanized egg roll after that experience. Advice: if you like Chinese food, do not go into a Chinese deli, kitchen or market ever ever ever because it will change you right down to your molecular level. |

WE HAVE BEEN LIED TO User ID: 77623184 United States 03/13/2020 10:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What about all those products we buy that were made in China? Just about all of them. They could easily be infected. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77422316 Almost every appliance I have in the house and a slew of other items came from there. And did you know that 80%-90% of all the garlic we buy comes from China? It's covered with bleach and pesticide: [link to boredomtherapy.com (secure)] [link to www.snopes.com (secure)] If this virus gets out of control and kills enough people the Chinese economy will collapse because nobody will want to touch any products from there. That would trigger a global economic collapse. I bought garlic in a jar made in China at a USA supermarket a few years ago. I ended up going to a ER that day. My heart was racing. ER doctor told me it was indigestion caused by the garlic. Haven't bought garlic since. WEHAVEBEENLIEDTO |
