Just wear sunglasses and keep your distance. Problem is you cannot touch your sunglasses or mouth bandana or clothing with bare hands.

When supplies are low, just use glasses or sunglasses, a bandana, and medical gloves, or just the plastic gloves that you can throw out. Just make sure you disinfect everything, spray sunglasses with Lysol and set out in the sun before taking gloves off. Don’t touch anything in your house before taking gloves off. Kinda hard to do, but if you touch anything with bare hands, everything you just did to be safe is useless.

Most of the disposable masks the Chinese are wearing are simple particle masks.

Short of wearing sealed gas mask type face masks that effectively seal they are all similarly effective.
