I'm in the hospital for a pulmonary embolism I had Tuesday morning. I'm going to survive that, but they want to keep me here a few more days and I want to get home before the coronavirus patients start showing up.
Am I screwed?

As long as you DO ACTUALLY feel well enough to take care of yourself, then I'd start gently insisting that you'd now like to go home....just for the better rest is a good enough reason in my book. My heart to yours you get home sooner rather than later....  I am considering it. I'm on a blood thinner IV right now, but if they can switch me to pills, I'm gonna leave. I hate being here instead of my bunker. You're going to be recovering for a spell....heh, I'm going to upgrade you, lovey. Now you'll have full command of your threads and smilies....in your bunker. You get well fast, and enjoy your upgrade....  Thanks for that.
