No such thing as failure if you pick yourself up and come back stronger.

drama
Man is forever solving the most perplexing problems as he ventures ever further into the unknown. But where are the outer limits of his ingenuity? Will he ever encounter a problem, a Gordian Knot, which he cannot ultimately cut?

Re: 4 years sober then relapse
Relapse is part of getting sober. Every day is a new day and a new opportunity. I fight it all the time. We all have faults- if it’s not addiction then it’s selfishness, lust, greed, pride, etc. Addicition just has a bad rap because it’s more apparent than inner sins that can hide really well.

c'mon, you made it 4 years without drinking. Be proud of that (if that is what you feel like you needed to do). Now start a new streak. Don't sulk about having a few drinks.

OP, some true cynical assholes on this thread. Screw'um.

You did 4 years (twice?). I bet you life had got much better, and life will get better again. You mentioned AA world. Do those steps, especially 4. Back your ears and get rid of that little piece of shitty inventory that your hanging on to when you get to step 5. That little fucker will kill you and you think to yourself that it is too embarrassing and you are going to keep to yourself . It is the one that haunts when you get weak. The one that makes you say to your self...'you piece of shit, might as pick up a drink'. It's true nature is a stronghold that I will explain later if you like. I have see that one destroy more sobriety in myself and others than any other reason.

All the Best and I will watch this thread.
