Does anyone else feel like they're losing their voice over the internet?

Even a few years ago it felt like you could really be heard over the internet. You could express and opinion and have others respond to it and have discourse.

Lately it feels like that is no longer there. Almost every platform is overrun with shill and spam accounts, paid trolls or just ignorant people who will screech you down or drown you out.

To be heard on social media you need thousands of 'followers'. Twitter is the worst for this. Facebook is almost a literal shit fight and Instagram doesn't really facilitate discourse.

Internet forums only give you this is you are posting every hour. Sites like reddit are the most overrun by those mentioned above.

Even here is a fight through the dross of Christian fanatics, shitposters and neckbeards.

It doesn't feel like you can express an opinion anymore and have it actually heard.

When everyone has a voice, no one does. It's just a chorus of noise.
