Lot of on target posts here.

We can see the MTV effect there. It got worse in the 90s.

Let's not forget about all the drugs they were bringing into this country through places like Mena, Ak, and how kids, like the ones you see in this video, were a major market that they sought to open up for their products during the Bush/Clinton years.

Yep, criminality at the top for 30 years will certainly have an effect on a nation.

They're was no identity politics. Cultural Marxism hadn't taken hold and everyone got along.

Hmm. I notice that the high school hadn't been enriched with diversity yet. We keep inviting the third world and then wonder why society continues on its downward slide.

They've plotted and plotted... and took it all away.

"The Revolution won't happen with guns, rather it will happen incrementally, year by year, generation by generation. We will gradually infiltrate their educational institutions and their political offices, transforming them slowly into Marxist entities as we move towards universal egalitarianism." - Max Horkheimer, original member of the Frankfurt School which was responsible for creating and pushing Critical Theory (aka Cultural Marxism)

Their time was also awesome to them. Nothing wrong with that.

Question is, will adults 30 years from now look back and say their time was awesome.

"I don't remember anyone from my school days because we were always looking at our phones, and we were scared to death about the climate and fighting for our right to change our genders, and we had Hitler as the president, but aside from all that, it was great!"
 Quoting: gnostic9

... that is your perspective on their generation, not theirs... further accentuating my point...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71318064

I'm just asking a question, and adding a speculation.
Maybe they'll have many awesome things to look back on.

I'm sure older people thought the 80s was completely degenerate, but not knowing what came before, I loved it.

The same could be true for younger people today not having known a time before cell phones, social media, and cultural marxism.
 Quoting: gnostic9

There's a bit of nostalgia any generation has as it looks back to its youth.

In 2020, things like cell phones, laptops and wide-screen monitors have features that people over 10 to 20 years ago could have only dreamed about. But the increasingly hard-bitten nature of today's culture, with a much more no-holds-barred, no-filter format of TV shows, movies, media, academia corporations/governments in 2020 go way beyond anything in the past, whether 1920s, 1940s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s America.

President Trump admittedly isn't a mush-mouth when it comes to Miss-Manners etiquette. But much of that has been forced on him by the liberal dynamics and leftwing people throughout today's America.

If he were like a Ronald Reagan in a US of 2020, he'd be eaten alive.

.
 Quoting: CSnow

You're totally right. He's a product of the times. He didn't even use to talk this way, but the more they bring things down, the more we needed someone who could fight back, and succeed at it in the political realm.

Previously, one of the 100 accusations against him would have ended his political career, but there is so much support for him now (the resistance to the agenda) that he's almost invincible compared to how things would've been 20 years ago.

This is also why they hate him so much. He's the anti Cultural Marxist. He knows the agenda and is fighting it. I hope the right-wing anti-Trumpers come to their senses and realize what's going on. (Although even with another four years, we're still technically screwed due to the destruction that has already been done in the U.S. and around the world. It will take drastic, huge change (Balkanization?) to ever restore this country to any great degree.

Things are about to get worse on Wednesday, and then with any luck, again in November.

one of the main differences today is obviously most of the time people have their noses in cell phones or laptops, and the level of narcissism is unreal.

I only see a lot of young people trying to self-portrait themselves and trying to grasp everyone's attention. Egoism combined with proudness are at the beginning of each downfall...

They didn't start showing us the ROOTS movie 3 times a year until 1993.

And then Affirmative action schools, where a small handful of whites with high GPA's were sent to mostly black schools to be tortured and beaten and sometimes murdered. Yeah my middle school in Seattle had armed guards and chains on the fucking doors.

Blacks ruined everything.

The world population has just about literally double in that time.

Do you believe in the theory that the number of souls ran out, and the world is full of "organic portals" (soulless humans) now?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78425644

Rhogam drastically increased the population of rh positives. It is disproportionate. I think that along with vaccines and other pharmakeia are Satan's doing. The Holy Bible tells us this is Satan's domain, but the Kingdom of God is within us.

Not sure how these facts tie in with your comment but I felt compelled to mention them. Is there an association?

If you take into consideration that the world or "matrix", "the wheel of life" is the way is it then yes having organic portals around might make reincarnation process much easier.

Blacks weren't in power. So don't blame them. The policy changes that allowed what you are disgusted over were put forth by a tribe called....hew and their dual citizenship status.

People forget were to place blame. Yes, segregation was best but don't blame the blacks for their ignorance and degenerate behavior, many whites fit that criteria and they had little to nothing to do with policy at that time--60's and 70's. It was (they) who cannot be named. Blacks are pawns in the game.

Even the music was utlracool. This was approximately the peak of human civilization. We'll never return to being like this.

Was it just the Internet destroying human relationships or more than that?

What happened is that these high school kids had children of their own and didn't give a shit about them. As a result, their kids turned into circus freaks.

those of us that relish that time and time before that are few, it was a time of innocence, yeh we partied, smoked and cut up, and nobody died. we had true freedom, and even that society changed and got worse ,some of us, we did'nt let society change us ,we're still the same, respectful, help others, society has been in a freefall since then

Women's clothes and hair styles in the late 80s, early 90s were pretty awful. I was dating alot then and it was hard to find one without poofy hair, baggy sacks for clothes with shoulder boards. It was the tv. All the women on the tv dressed like clowns. Things finally got better but next they all started wearing combat boots and stuff. Sigh.
