Family friends of MY friend who are in Rhode Island on vacation from Florida just had their newborn infant get sick and go to the hospital. I believe it was Hasbro Children’s Hospital in providence. I’ve been told that their baby tested positive for the coronavirus and the mother and father are freaking out. It hasn’t been reported anywhere that I know of and I don’t expect anybody to believe this but I know the information is reliable. I also know all tests are not very accurate. But the simple fact this wasn’t announced and that this family traveled from Florida to Rhode Island kind of tells me it’s too late. I imagine the government would not even bother announcing it as to avoid creating a panic.

One simple announcement that it’s in your state would probably cause every single person with the sniffles to run to the hospital to get tested, and I don’t think there’s enough test kits available… and with false positives and negatives being so rampant in the tests why bother trying? maybe the plan here is to let it run its course and only quarantine people who get outwardly sick with symptoms. Though that’s just a guess.
