Global shutdown of all transportation would greatly help to buy time to search for a possible vaccine but none of the world governments have the ability to work together because of politics.

R0 is the reproduction rate of the virus in a humam cell.
4.08 is the high estimate with a 1.4 as the low estimate.
with the new information is shows that the rate of reproduction is much higher.

this all translates to an extremely fast spreading virus.
I think is is about to really take off ...
how fast? a few billion in 50 days is in the ballpark.

Missed my point. Reproduction rate assumes human to human transmission (H2H). If the R0 goes too high then we may need to assume that the virus is being spread deliberately as in someone has a spray can of it and they are deliberately spreading it around. Too early to know.

Just had a great conversation with an college professor about this. She is by no means an authority but is pretty sharp. This virus is a very peculiar one indeed. It’s much like HIV in the sense that people who are cured and test negative may still shed the virus and infect others but they’re not 100% sure on that yet. The virus is somewhat slow from infection simply because it’s mutating at a very alarming rate, but don’t let the slowness fool you bc it could mutate into a fast killing machine in very little time. The infection Chance is off the charts as people are being infected with almost no contact and the new theory is that most masks and protection shields are almost useless due to the super tiny microns size. As much as they know the virus is changing so fast that the new test kits may become useless overnight.

It was a very eye opening situation. IMO we need to stop all international travel immediately.

No deadly thing can hurt me.

Actually it is you who has missed the point.

The numbers are based upon h2H transmission which has been
positively verifed. No one is running around with a spray can of virus.

H2 and H1 fighters and proton pump inhibitor are the only
possible partial defense against the corona.
If you have them on hand and start the dosage as per instructions then the mortality rate percentage is greatly reduced for you and you end up with a better chance of survival. once this gets really rolling the supplies will be gone.

Stay away from crowds as much as possible.

This doesn’t matter bc the virus that we have here in the US and UK and other countries is the earliest form. The virus has mutated several times since then. The think to watch is the spread of the virus in other countries more so than deaths.

THIS I am increasingly sure this is a global effort by tptb to contain the globe under martial law. They have to keep the numbers consistently up R0 - suddenly China revamped their ‘ calculation methods’ as soon as a dip was being observed. I am sure There are complicit states around the world who are also actively participating in the ‘spread’ - the top four states up to Japan.

Be much more worried if you or those you are close to are infirm, elderly, young, or weak immune/always sick.


Keep in mind mortality rate is only 3%, not much higher than the common flu.

People die from the symptoms, not the virus itself. Anti-biotics to treat pneumonia are going to be hard to find.

All-in-one flu symptom suppressants will be important too.
