I do hope you are laughing or at least smiling as often as you post that same gif.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29605035

Smiling, yes. I only post that gif when something made me smile. Not laugh like that guy lol.

Laughter is the best! Rumor has it that every laugh makes you live 7 min longer! But smiling has a great effect on ones soul too!

What do you think about this verse.

Exodus 20:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

I think you have a good opinion on that. Because I noticed you are spelling G-d, I think that is a wise thing to do.

The dash thing is "controversial", as most things are. The issue is that G-d is the English equivalent of Elohim, which ironically we don't worry about putting the dash in because we understand it to be a title and not G-d's name. Since L-rd is always used to convey the Tetragrammaton.

But I don't think that anyone has taken G-d's name in vain in a very long time considering that His name is one of the best kept secrets and "forgotten" of by the J-ws. I don't think it's Yahway btw. I think that the J-ws allowed for the proper pronunciation to be 'forgotten' to project people, especially the Nations, from breaking a very serious commandment.

Thank you very much for your opinion. I was really interested in that. I know that God has a name, and not many know His name. I agree with you on Yahway, my friend is very religious, he keeps saying that Gods name is Yahway, and I don't agree with him on that. Not many "christians" study Old Testament, and they should. Many believe that Old Testament is not important. But without Old Testament, New Testament is basically useless.

I think there is a very strategic reason the Churches don't encourage people to study the Torah and only stay in and quote from the NT.

Someday, hopefully soon, the Torah will be written on the hearts of every Yid and we will all know the name of G-d again! B"H

There is so much wisdom in Old Testament. I love the story about Enoch. His relationship with God was so good, that he didn't see death. Do you think its possible for us to have a same relationship with God, so God can take us without death? That is my goal, I know that Enoch lived all his life for God, and I only started my path few years ago.

I enjoy the people on the site. Sometimes you get a surprise when someone comes at you from a different angle and you really have to dig to counter their argument. Keeps me on my toes and deepens my own understanding. I do wish they were better read outside of the bible because it would enhance the conversation, but not everyone wants to read things that don't fit their views and most are Sola Scriptura lol. Some are very smart, some aren't. Most are very unmoving in their opinions, but I know there are a lot of lurkers here!

I'm glad you think I'm a nice person because I'm pretty sure I come off as an arrogant asshole most the time. You are pleasant yourself and very kind for apologizing when you fear you have offended.

Undeniable. Unanswerable. Irrefutable. Inarguable.

It clearly does bother you because you have pulled the same line of BS for three days now. Sure does sound like you are trying to speak for all the Christian folks.

My parents are Christian; you shouldn't make assumptions about my background. I've read the NT and show how riddle with errors it was and how it contradictions the Hebrew Scriptures. Thus, I walked away and convert.

Jesus is a copy & amalgamation of all the pagan faiths of the Nations. G-d told us not to walk after the ways of the Nations. You don't know G-d, you know Jesus and he doesn't speak through you.
