How Big is the Iceberg is excellent analogy...but this is where they omit information. Actions of other countries, corporations is costing billions and these decisions are made based on information and that information is coming from somewhere...WHO has the same information and likely much more. However, we all know that Bob Jones in Iowa and Pam Smith of Texas aren't going to be privy to that information...as many have stated, they have minimal benefit in telling us about everything that is going on...only those things which will influence our behavior.

Funding
He can fuck right off, it doesn't take 100s of millions of dollars to do trials (especially in this situation), but booking executive suites, flying first class, eating 500 dollar dinners, paying kickbacks does take a lot of money to sustain. He can't sit there and calm us about it not being that bad and mainly a China problem then flip it around to panic mode and say the need boatloads of money. This particular area of discussion screams false narrative...either it is worse than they saying, or they are scamming for money....which is it.

Conclusion: Nothing but softball questions...probably screened ahead of time. Their words do not match the actions of countries and corporations around the world.

On 2 occasions he said" we must prepare these countries for the arrival of the virus". He didn't say, we must prepare these countries "incase the virus comes to their country."

He also said, "we are dealing with this virus in 2019". This is 2020 not 2019. How long have they known about it, that 2019 naturally slides out of their mouths?

Someone should ask them about the images coming out on Twitter and Youtube of people being barricaded into their homes without food, water, and medicines. Or dragging people away kicking and screaming.

Are they really not going to address any of that on the news?

That footage deserves several documentaries made about what is happening.

This sounds like shit load of bureaucratic half speak. So far, the cases outside of China have been "mild". Well, that's largely due to the number of infected. However, as those numbers grow, we're going to have dead and we need to prepare for pandemics in other countries.
