So i am wondering if somehow nuances in Robotech were sort of identified with and taken into a state of approval by the Wachowskis and possibly others to go trans. Any thoughts glp? Im not exactly blaming it either im saying that somehow the gays identify with elements in it. We can have a chicken or egg discussion about it really. It is programming afterall. I enjoy the show myself and i enjoy the matrix. I find it interesting that the wachowski sisters might have gotten some influence from the show. I mean in the second season they are transplanting conciousness into bioroids. This is lending to transsexualism and transhumanism all out in the open in the 80s for kids. The kids who watched that series are in their 40s now and we have aneven bigger explosion now in these types of characters and ideas. The Wachowskis blatantly stole the matrix designs from GITS especially the falling cascade of green kanji characters, the matrix uses to visualize the computing programs used to create the illusion of reality. Try as you might you cannot pick out one major plot device from Robotech that is duplicated in the matrix. |
