A strange creature nailed to a Mexican beach

This strange eyeless sea animal came from the depths of the Pacific Ocean. Discovered by locals on Destilederas Beach along the Pacific coast of Mexico, this mysterious creature has some serious sharp teeth and a bit like a dolphin, but it seems to have no eyes or any other noticeable features, such as fins or flippers along its gray serpentine body.

According to reports, the people who found him initially mistook him for a dolphin, but quickly changed their minds after they looked at him closely.

None of the local fishermen who came to inspect the carcass, was also unable to determine what it was. Some suggested that he might have come from a particularly deep part of the ocean off the coast of Puerto Vallarta, which descends to a depth of more than 1000 meters. If true, then darkness at such a depth could explain the apparent lack of eyes.

I can assume that the mutations that we are increasingly seeing are the unsuccessful results of a change in the genome of crazy scientists.

I was trying to figure that out, and if so, were there people around it praying?

Yeah or some type of eel. Looks like it did have eyes but they dried out and the side fins were eaten off.
