A 14” piece of steel cable 1/2” in diameter is brutal. It can also be hid easily. |

Nearly silent, no forms to fill out(big bro is watching), and, if SHTF hits the fan hard enough, would NOT want to get hit in a vital area with one. As a compliment to your normal weapon and loadout, a good air rifle is a must. Most air rifles sold today have velocities of 1000 fps or more, which is close to that of a .22 long rifle. Competition air rifles sometimes have velocities as high as 2500 fps, which would put it in the neighborhood of a 308. I have a similar rifle to yours, but need more pellets. Thanks for the reminder! They are very easy to repair, and in theory you can make your own powder and ball with barely any tools. Fishing, too. Not to mention it can be readily made by hand. Bow and arrows can also be made by hand. Sling shots/wrist rockets offer unlimited ammunition choices. I had a friend take down a squirrel with an acorn. Talk about irony. Knives and swords are still as deadly now as they were in the medieval times. A nice pile of throwing stones and a good arm is also helpful. Rope has many uses, from snares to trip lines. Make sure to have plenty of it. Feel free to add your own. I'm sure I've forgotten some.
