I totally believe it works for many things but you have to take handfuls of them over the course of a day. I took that and Echinacea one night when I caught a nasty upper respiratory cold virus and it was GONE by morning. I took about 20 C and 10 Echinacea and tons of water. Gone.

Dr. Linus Pauling, a two time Nobel Prize winner best known for working out the nature of the chemical bond, advocated massive doses of Vitamin C in the 70's to combat illness and viruses. He was met with both praise and ridicule.

Not to cross swords with you but the acerola cherry Vit c you mention has only around 18% as much Vit C in it as pure Ascorbic Acid (Vit C). Look on the picture of the ingredients on the back of the container. It lists two ingredients, the vit c and the cherries. Don't get me wrong though they are both good and thanks.

I've been taking 500mg for years but I'm increasing it to 1000mg today.

Has anyone heard of liposomal vitamin c, just has good as iv vitamin c. The most overlooked vitamin on the planet. They ask me how come your family never get sick and when i tell them they look like a deer in the headlights.

Vit C is cheap. Taking Vit C pills or powder works fine and the trip to the germ laden hospital or doctors office and $200 IV cost is avoided. It is very fast, easy and cheap also to make liposomal Vit C with ascorbic acid powder (vit c) and lecithin (a type of fat) and distilled water. Maybe 10-15 minutes of time to make enough for a week. Easy.

Regularly take 1000mg of vitamin C a day. Don’t get the flu. I didn’t even get a flu shot last year.. There was a norovirus outbreak at the rest home my mother is in last year. She got it but fully recovered. I didn’t get it, even though my only extra precaution during my daily visits, was to wear a mask.
I wouldn’t guarantee you won’t catch either bug and pass it on, but at the least, the symptoms stayed away.

I have been taking Vitamin C for 30 years.

I take a 1,000 mg every hour that I am a wake. When I worked I would take a baggie of pills with me to work. I am retired now for the last 16 years. So most days I just chill around the house.

I average 12,000 mg to 20,000 mg a day. The reason I take one every hour is your body uses Vitamin C very fast. Also if you take it all at once, you'll soon learn Vitamin C is also great for something else.....

If you are every constipated, take 20,000 mg Vitamin C and see what happens within 30 minutes .... lol
