Why next Thursday? Some announcement to the public about how bad things will be? or is they can't hide the supply shortages anymore?

But though the behavior and warning was odd. CDC isn't allowing docs to test for covid19 unless they meet stringent requirements. So there is clearly an underreporting. There's no way there aren't localized outbreaks by now. I'm extremely concerned.
