And you're gonna need to dump the whole mag into a pissed off mountain lion, bet on it.

If they are stalking you, they are hungry.

If you catch one stalking you, don't hesitate but don't move too fast. Slowly and deliberately draw and aim. If it immediately turns and leaves, it made it's decision and will not be back. Give it one second to decide. If it stays looking at you, send it to God.

There aren't any goddamn mountain lions in KY. I lived there all my life.

They’re rare but they are being seen more in the midwest in recent years. We’ve been getting some in IL and we’re not supposed to.

“Since 2002, four mountain lions have been killed in Illinois, including one who was shot in an alley in the Roscoe Village neighborhood in 2008. In all four cases, the mountain lions migrated from South Dakota or Nebraska, and all of them were teenage males.

One part of the Midwest seeing a recent spike in mountain lion sightings is the Missouri and Kansas region. Almost all of the mountain lions confirmed in those states since 1994 were males coming from established populations in the Black Hills, Badlands and northwestern Nebraska, The Kansas City Star reported.”

People are even seeing them in Massachusetts. I saw a black panther a few years back outside my apartment complex. Just saw the back end of it, with the long tail, going past. Can't explain it but I know what I saw. I'm about 30 miles outside Boston.
