If I may input some seriousness in this thread... The Bible speaks of a time when a loaf of bread costs a weeks wages. I believe that time is fast approaching. Today, you can buy a bag of flower for under $10 (some places, as little as $5) that would be enough to make well over 10 loafs of bread. It would seem wise to buy the flour now than have to work a whole week just to be able to afford one loaf. In the holocaust ghettos of WW2, people were so hungry that they took wallpaper off their walls to scrap the flour paste off of it so they would have something to feed their families. We must learn from the past.  Thank you for that info. Should I get yeast to add to my flour stores when time to make bread? Learn to make biscuits I have yeast for making ginger ber/ale if someone gets sick, but yeas, much easier to make baking powder biscuits, or soda biscuits if you have access to buttermilk, or something acidic to activate the soda.
