Clinical characteristics of 140 patients infected by SARS-CoV-2 in Wuhan, China pg.11 only 9(6.4%) patients had a history of smoking, and 7 of them were past smokers. The relationship between smoking and coronavirus infection is not clear, and the exact underlying causes of the lower incidence of COVID-19 in current smokers is still unknown. That means only 2 of 140 patients, or 1.43%, were smokers!And something like 30% of China is.
