Wildlife photographer shocked to see seagulls fighting over who gets the dildo

If you ever needed proof that there was too much plastic floating around in our oceans, this is it.

Conservation photographer Jennifer Leigh Warner was at the Children’s Pool in La Jolla, California, earlier this week.

She was hoping to get some shots of baby seals that had been born in the area. But her attention was drawn to a rowdy group of seagulls that were squabbling over what looked at first like a random piece of plastic that they had found.

But when she zoomed in with her camera she realised to her shock that the gulls were fighting over a dildo.
