Case very good tractor. I looked at John deere and Kubota. I ended up going John deere it had heavy duty full rearend. I liked the hydrostatic better too but, that's purely preference. I don't believe it's much better quailty wise. Well except the rear end. The Kubota had long axles sticking out of the pumkin. Id have to go larher to get full rearend. It's probably strong the axles were big I just hated the idea of no support out by the wheel. I have 50hp and use it like a 100hp. The john deere has held up amazingly for what i put it through.

Injector Pumps:
You will want to run a standyne lubricity fformula in the fuel. ULSD is hard on the injector pumps in anything, and the extra LUBE will keep everything happy and keep the injector nozzles from wearing thin and over fueling your cylinder as a hydro lock will snap a rod or the crank.

Check your air filter for cleanliness and hold a light behind it to see if it is "loaded"

Run 15-40 SYN oil in her, never run a dino oil of 15-40. If you are on budget then run 5-40 in the winter if you are on dino.

Replace the wiper blade as it will always be fucked up when you need it to clear the window.

NEVEr use starting fluid on her. if you need a bit of extra spray in wd-40 but arolsolized not out of the red rod that it comes with. You want a mist in there not loads of liquid.

Put a back up alarm hooked to the reverse gear outputs of the park lock apparatus. Very easy to back over a kid or your wife or dog in these things given the HIGH read wheel stance. This is heavy enough it will push your guts out your ass if it runs over you. Backing this up you ALWAYS need to make sure it is clear. Always and every single time.

COE center of effort is pretty high on these units, id stay off anything 22.5 degree's or better. You can improve these numbers by keeping your bucket low if transiting a tippy spot, and also you can add a "blade" to her ass if you are clearing snow.

Cheange the water fuel seperator filter if it has one, or drain the bowel. As diesel sits it will absorb water, a bit of water sucked into your pump will kill your pump/injectors.

Water sits at bottom on tank in these, take a coat hanger and bend it at the end 2 inches at a 90. with a light put the "rod" down into the fuel watching the end of your 90, it will dissapear if there is water on bottom. Any traces of water, and you need to suck that tank out.

There is a little "pin" on the lee side of the fuel pump, it is your bleed screw, if you ever change filters or open up the lines, you will get some air. That air will need to escape out the pin (set screw with jam nut) so the pump can pressure up. You noticed how she fired right up, if she ever does not fire right uop, do not crank it over and over again, the pump may be dry and you will score shit bad.

Tarctor was delivered Monday. Finally had a chance to actually mess with it a little yesterday. Cleared the snow from my driveway just for the hell of it. Didn’t need to my truck is 4wd.

She needs some lovin but overall solid and everything works except a few bulbs and wonky gauges.

Gotta figure out how to easily fuel this thing. Was surprised to find the gas cap is under the back of the cab with not much space above it. Dafuq? Can’t even pour a can in there! Gonna have to siphon for now.

May just drive it to the gas station 2 miles away every time... lot easier.

We had a case very similar to yours. Would fuel up those metal military cans you see on jeeps sometimes 4 of them had one of the flexible metal spouts that screwed into top. They worked excellent only lose frw drops in leaks. This was the way before our electric pump on a fuel drum

Jerry cans? Is the spout longer than the standard plastic can spout? That didn’t reach but also wasn’t flexible. Lotta weight to hold up for that long!

Might be looking into a drum with a pump eventually.

Damn it, I envy you all. I am my tractor, Me and my back with a shovel. I haul logs, move dirt, dig ditches, snow plow and till and so on and on by hand. At least all that hard work keeps my girly figure in great shape. I WANT A TRACTOR SO BAD and dump truck. I hope to to trade my old motor home for a tractor but doing all the tractor work by hand does not give me the time to spiff up the motor home for resale.

Mine is brand new, not as big as some but for it's size packs one hella load.......it's pretty and bright red with a big hood.

Yes woman farmer here. I made up a song I sing all the the time, chickens and birds sing along. I changed the words from "If I had a hammer, I would hammer in the morning" to if I had a tractor, I would plow in the morning, and so on. LOL I am going to get a tractor some how, some day.
If no doom hits, I could live off my preps, save up a little money and maybe buy an old used one that I would probably spend more time doing repairs on than using. LOL

Clark winch that would pull the dirt right out from under you!

I call my skidder "Tatonka"... she is sooo beautiful! Very useful on the farm!

Ive got an Allis Chalmers model c 1945 with a Woods belly mower . Runs good. Thinking about a full restoration.

Kubota L3301 here, bought it a couple years ago. Mainly to clear snow, but I also use it to skid logs and general maintenance around my property.

I have a Kubota L3800 with FEL rotary tiller, finish mower, brush hog mower, swivel blade, box blade, row hippers, and row builders. I also have an older Mahindra 2015 subcompact tractor. It is too small for some of my work around here but it is a workhorse for sure.

I have several large garden spots and use the tractor to till, row and cultivate the gardens along with moving dirt, sawdust, compost, etc.

Bummer about constant repairs. Really hoping with the low hours (1800) I’ll be good for a while.

I love old tractors but have no need for one. I have a 1968 simplicity landlord lol. Hey, it's beefy for a riding mower! However I push mow everything.

Got a Massey Ferguson 1240. (Grey market jap tractor) with a dead engine. Actually was hired to fix it but once I tore it down and told him what it'd take to fix it I never heard from him again. It's been over 5 years so I guess I own it now.

Wish I had all the implements. He had everything that would hook to this thing. Bush hog, belly mower, tiller, front end loader, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things.
