I drink Whiskey Neat, so never before 2pm, body just not ready for that kind of pressure on it early, drink lots of water between pours. I have had Irish Cream coffee a few times early, maybe 3 times at the most in my life, love Scotch/Bourbon, and have a massive collection, only pull a bottle for Social Sipper meetups, great hobby.

I always thought a beer for breakfast was a nice way to start the day!
 Quoting: ThirstyMarlin

Used to do that in my teens.

But now we're talking about hard drink.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78314610

I sit on this fence. I am a social drinker. As i got older i didnt always have time to be social but had time for a drink. Drinking alone is always put out there with the "signs". Truth is, if you can stop you are fine. So if you want booze cruise or vacation tank enjoy yourself.

10am is probably the earliest I'll start. I limit myself to 2-3 beers in a day, for 2 days a week. Some weeks I don't buy any beer and just drink flavored seltzer water instead.
