I saw exactly what you described here in Colorado a couple years ago. I could see flashes of light and these star like objects moving in zig zag patterns and then disappearing. I glad to see someone else has also bared witness to it.

I'm in northern DE and cant see much to the south east due to light pollution but I did see a shooting star in that vicinity 5 min ago
