Homeschooling here....half way with their program.....no stopping here.

I am wondering myself when to keep my teens home. Our govt is useless, their website makes me want to scream. In one section it lists all the countries that have it, and right below it states it is only monitoring links to China. STILL.

The cdc doctor said they could continue school via internet. Why do they ever have to go to a building if they can receive education via internet? One teacher could teach thousands of children. We wouldn't have to pay high taxes to maintain and build new buildings or hire redundant teachers let alone put them on school buses. This virus has an upside.

Sounds like it's a good time to start investing in online schools for grade students, and online work share apps in general

The best thing is actual work can be done in an hour or so a day. The rest of the day can be left up to unschooling which builds imagination and of course family time which is so important. Get the board games ready. And the cooking classes. And have a lot of books they would be interested in reading.

Yup. But I think they want kids in school because both parents are working and because of sports programs.

Homeschool gives a quality education in less than half the amount of time per day.

No curriculum here... but yeah, homeschooling will continue.... at least our kids will be able to function and enjoy books.

In Maine, they plan to force-vaccinate children, so unless the people's veto passes March 3, there'll be a need for home schooling materials or packing to leave materials.
