Should say I'm in GA. And there was plenty of everything on the shelves.

Not sure where you are in GA...

Northern GA in Cherokee/Pickens counties quiet. Was at Aldi and Wally Mart. Nothing out of sorts and no lines or cleared shelves.

Calm before the storm....

Forgot...one middle-aged woman wearing a surgical mask in produce section. And no masks at Wally Mart.

I ordered several cases of canned goods from Amazon. They are out of Chef Boyardee Ravioli until Mid March. One other item was out of stock till next week.

I figure if I have to quarantine for 6 weeks, I will be in good shape. Besides what I purchased, I have a month of emergency food supplies (the stuff that lasts 25 years). If this thing doesn't happen, I will donate the extra food to a food pantry.

I did go to a Chinese run farmers market todayvwhere they sell spring water 3 gallons for $2 and they were out. Never before have I seen them completely out. That was in NW New Jersey/

Central Ohio. Kroger was swamped. Toilet paper, cleaning supplies, feminine products and baby food/formula/diapers were cleared out. Fun facts. Army Tanks were spotted going down the main highway. And they had army vehicles are parked behind Walmart. Walmart in town is closed til further notice. Local police are there also blocking the back of the building. The parking lot is blocked off.

South Dakota. No shortages as far as food and paper goods. Stuff like hand sanitizer, clorox wipes, and disinfectant seem to be in slightly higher demand than usual.

We went out and about yesterday in fort smith, Arkansas and all was ok for the most part. Didn’t notice anyone stocking up. Business as usual. I did notice in our small town later last nights that the rice aisle had a bunch of empty spaces where the bigger cheaper bags go. I suspect this weekend will be insane, first of the month is technically tonight/tomorrow so a lot of people will gave $$$

My town is very small and sad to say people are more interested in what reality show they just watched to actual news. On the plus side, I have warned as many people as I can here and have now given up so more for my family. :)

Nope, Canada's primary quarantine site is here in my little town, and people are just lapping up all crap the local media and government are feeding them. Itl take 1000 confirmed cases here before people start to maybe want to talk about it..

I just made a costco run here in North AL. I went at about 1:00pm to avoid crowds as its after lunch and most people are at work. It was busy for that time of day but not insane. I took a good look at everyone's carts and didnt see anything that looked like panic buying. The only people I did see with lots of cleaning wipes and cleaning supplies in their carts were asian and indian folk. Nobody was wearing a mask or gloves.

Heard from another friend who went earlier during his lunch break. He said the place was nutts and they were all out of soup and dog food. I didnt see that. So if you're going to go to the store for supplies, you may want to go at non-peak hours.

Louisiana here. Store shelves have been low for a while at Walmart, but I think they are ordering less food.

No one seems to be concerned at all. I did see a guy a Costco with a butt-ton of ham and meat. So maybe that's prep.

The press conference was at 5 central so everyone was coming home from work, it's doubtful anyone saw it.

Unfortunately, I've been getting non-stop alerts on my phone's news app telling me to get prepared.

So I expect the store runs now. I can almost bet that if I go to Walmart tonight it will look like a Cat 5 is in the gulf.

As another poster said, seniors are oblivious. An elderly woman at Walmart nearly stood on top of me and close talked yesterday. She wanted my shopping cart because it was one of the smaller ones. It scared the heck outta me.

n95 masks are sold out here in many places.

there are also some places with empty shelves of certain products--things that have a long shelf life. but, the supply chain is still good and things get restocked within the next day.

we will see ho it goes from here.

East Texas here.

Popped into the Sam's for a few things around 2:30 today, and noticed many pick up orders were mostly toilet paper, bleach, paper towels and water. Saw maybe 30 carts loaded with these items, and a ridiculously long exit line. Lots of people shopping today, but this is a high volume Sam's, so hard to gauge if this is normal or not.

Lowe's sold out of masks.

Walmart sold out of hand sanitizer, with an unusual number of people shopping for it. Overheard an employee comment about how busy they'd been today.

Everything still easy going atm in Belgium. Told my wife to get a haircut at one of those fancy places since all those hairstylists do is chitchat all day, so figured it would be a good place to get a feel about the general vibe etc. All cool.

No panic yet, stores seemed normal too. N95 masks nowhere to be found and even GP's can't get the medical grade ones.

If you'd call a doctor and tell 'm you've got flu-like symptoms, you will get insta redirected to the hospital, no doctor will come near you.

Multiple contaminations in Germany/France/Netherlands.. Schools staying open next monday so far, lots of people returning from their ski trips..

Going back to the store tomorrow just to be in the clear, thanks for the replies since there was some stuff I forgot to buy. Vitamin C and bleach in particular.

Stay safe <3 glp

Rural town north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada here.

Went to Walmart today and spent a couple hundred bucks on water, non-perishables and supplies. You would think considering we have covid19 looming, on top of the fact that our national rail networks have been compromised for several weeks by protestors, people would be more on top of their shit with prepping in case supply chains are disrupted further but that’s not the case. Walmart was filled with normal Walmart shoppers doing normal Walmart shopper things.

All food and water was in stock, did not look at N95 masks and pharmaceuticals. I did notice several other people with their carts *full* of water, cup-o-noodles, bleach, propane, canned beans/veggies/tuna, rice, batteries and other prep items. All were mid-thirties and younger, all looked concentrated on their shopping, with contemplative if not stern looks on their faces. The juxtaposition of the survival-shoppers next to the regular-shoppera was pretty creepy.

I hit the self-checkout line and an older lady working there (mid 60’s) gave me a hand entering multiple quantities of identical items without having to scan them all individually, and asked if I was “prepping for the virus”. She mentioned she’s noticed others beginning to do the same.

Matthew 6:9-13
King James Version (KJV)

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Just got back from Costco in Salt Lake City, UT.

Saw a few people with carts full of bottled water.

One customer was talking to his friend about prepping for Coronavirus.

Hand sanitizer and lysol was down to half of normal.

Other than that, no empty shelves or people acting out of the ordinary.
